Today's word is "lunation" ... loo-NEY-shuh n ... the period of time from one new moon to the next (about 29 and 1/2 days); a lunar month.
Moonlight
Through lunation constant,
The darkness comes and goes,
The night time now comes early,
And time within it grows.
We'll have to wait til summer,
For light to overcome,
For warmth and daylight long,
A gift from our great sun.
