Chill
The lake has melted into fog,
Her edges faded grey,
Cold sand beaches guard her shores,
This bleak December day.
Sun will not shine for weeks on end,
(Maps electronically foretell),
Memories will have to do,
To keep our spirits well.
But, candles bright still light the dark,
And warm those gathered 'round,
All is, and all will still be well,
As in each other we are found.
