Toothsome

Today's word is "toothsome" ... pleasing to the taste; palatable: a toothsome dish.

We get together for food and warmth,
family gathered, laughing, talking,
toothsome morsels shared and
babies nestled. Words that fill
and cheer. What else is better
in our wintered world, than
this basic comfort given?
