Today's word is "pluvial" ... of or pertaining to rain.
Wait
After cold unbearable,
and caustic wind unstoppable,
icy trees with branches
overcome by snow
bow low to winter's power.
Inside we sigh with pluvial eyes,
and dream of hot white sand
and the warm water welcome
that beckons on the other
side of patience.
