Trudging across the prairie,
Following the prints before,
Hearing the jingling harness,
The west an open door.
Only a bit of family,
Food as it is found,
The dream the end of the trail,
The stalwart are unbound.
Dogged, on they march,
Til the end is seen,
What they leave behind,
Is the might have been.
