Today’s word is “droke” … a valley with steeply sloping sides. (Dictionary.com)
Held
From the mountain to the droke,
Beauty flies,
Peak to peak the evergreens,
Engage both the earth and sky.
Eagles circle and they eye,
The ample ground,
Searching for their sustenance,
Every day it’s finally found.
Turning from the inside out,
The world revolves,
Promising its rich rewards,
Until all mysteries are solved.
