Today’s word is “spoonerism” ... the transposition of initial or other sounds of words, usually by accident, as in a blushing crow for a crushing blow. (Dictionary.com)
Tangle
Reading through the paper,
Everywhere you look,
Confusing as a spoonerism,
Is that flakey book.
No matter what it says,
With its tongue firmly in cheek,
Its tricky words sway people,
Every day of every week.
If truth was a bright light,
That shone upon the pages,
Maybe then we’d know,
What is only known to sages.
