Sense
Thinking about all the things,
All things existential,
Those are the ones, don’t you think,
That are the most essential?
Why we’re here; where we go,
What matters between ...
Thoughts of things invisible,
And what they really mean.
If on this earth there’s nothing more,
Than revolving ‘round in space,
There is no chance, no chance at all,
That we are saved by grace.
But if electricity and quarks,
Are real, though not seen or held,
Perhaps God’s love and providence,
Are just as real as well.
