We are showered every day,
With benignities uncounted,
The grace of God so obvious,
It should not at all be doubted.
Yet we live ours days as blind,
Ignoring beauty calling,
Tripping on dark thoughts and deeds,
Thinking we are falling.
If we could see just past this world,
To the surrounding glory,
We would laugh and play and dance,
And tell a different story.
