Today’s word is “eye-minded” ... ahy-mahyn-did ... disposed to perceive one’s environment in visual terms and to recall sights more vividly than sounds, smell, etc. (dictionary.com)
Original
The very first to be eye-minded,
Was the God who made us all,
Imagine his exquisite joy,
With his creatures, before the fall.
The ostrich with enormous eyes,
Butterflies rainbow winged,
Elephants and giant cats,
Birds that chirp and scream and sing.
How long before he was satisfied,
How many creatures did he make?
Or is he somehow yet creating,
In his realm, always awake?
