Turn
In these days of media,
Screens, Kindles and devices,
Does anyone still turn a page,
And feel that it suffices?
Or that even more it satisfies,
The touch of paper on the skin,
The folded corners a reminder,
Of where your thoughts have been.
Not only the donnish understand,
The lure of printed pages,
They’re there for everyone of us,
The common and the sages.
