Today’s word is “tautology”... taw-tol-uh-jee ... needless repetition of an idea, especially in words other than those of the immediate context, without imparting additional force or clearness. (Dictionary.com)
Flight
Over and over,
They fight and they fight,
Their tautology seems,
To go on all night.
There’s never a break,
As they spar and yell,
They’ll never stop,
(They are both unwell!)
The need to be right,
Is their diasease,
Their mode of dissent,
Fills the rest with unease.
Quiet please! Quiet!
Is all I can say,
Take all your crazy,
And go far away!
