Today’s word is “caboshed” ... kuh-bosht ... Heraldry. (Of an animal, as a deer) shown facing forward without a neck. (Dictionary.com)
Ubiquitous
The art is flat, caboshed,
It’s sculpted broad and fine,
It’s clay and multicolored tiles,
It’s on the table where you dine.
It’s curling stairs upclimbing,
It’s saints pressed into glass,
It floats on rolling ocean waves,
And stuns framed in the mass.
In every corner of this world,
Art is placed in common spaces,
Raising souls from common hours,
Inspiring with special graces.
