Bored
Some silly stunted souls,
Learn when they’re in school,
To repeat the reacher’s thoughts,
Like a psittacine-like fool.
Required to make the grade,
They swallow every theory,
Then feel so oppressed,
Put-upon and weary.
When the classes are all over,
Thinking’s still a chore,
And no new ideas entertain,
They’ve closed every open door.
