Fold
The sheep were wandering, far from home,
Onto rocky ledges,
They got lost on rugged roads,
And in thick thorny hedges.
They did not know that in their pain,
The Shepherd was close by,
Conferentially observing,
With crooked smile, and sigh.
Safe all along and yet they bleat,
Unaware of help at hand,
A few more rescues may be required,
Before they understand.
