He was there, in the garden,
How he got there, we don't know,
But he worked his wiley ways,
With stealthy knowledge, tempting slow.
This ophidian, full of glee,
Envisioned horror, blood and bones,
In this carnage he would revel,
Making a kingdom of his own.
But he didn't think his slighted God,
Would become payment for this deed,
And die himself, to save the ones,
Who live by grace, forgiven, free.
