Pause
Take it to the very edge,
Show the brinkmanship of power,
Part of humanity believes.
In waiting 'til the final hour.
All the people, under thumbs,
Among each other, grumble,
They watch leaders juggle peace,
As toward their enemies they stumble.
If humans could only be content,
With what they hold within their hands,
They'd not be fearful of their neighbors
And what might be their next demand.
