I see the insouciant air,

Of the fortunate ones,

Who, through no great skill,

Have lucky through life run.

And I wonder at the sight,

Of their frivolity,

Do their imaginations roam,

To those who for bread plea?

But I am also blessed,
With enough to share,
And only beg for ears,
To hear their muted prayers.
