Though grace here abounds,
And all our sins are covered,
There is within us found,
A winding trail of tears.
For as we outward grow,
And change and overcome,
A pentimento shows,
And testifies to love.
Though all this may be seen,
Only by one's heart,
Within God's mighty being,
We are wrapped around.
