Cavort ... New

Today's word is "cavort" ... kuh-VAWRT ... to prance or caper about. to behave in a high-spirited, festive manner; make merry. (Dictionary.com)

New
Joyous kids and lambs,
Cavort in verdant fields,
Daisys turn their heads,
Beauty is their yield.

Breezes gently swell,
Over grasses green,
As countless insects drone,
Under leaves, unseen.

Summer's grace has come,
Sumptuous in its show,
Revel while you may,
In its flirtatious glow.
