Quarrel
My cat is quite soniferous,
Though sometimes he is quiet,
The other day, out in the porch,
He was involved in a small riot.
He was growling deep and low,
All his fur upstanding,
His enemy was staring up,
From his place upon the landing.
But I opened up the door,
And scared the enemy away,
My cat came in complaining,
To fight another day.
