Chalk
His fecund mind was whirring,
Answers coming fast,
The questions were enormous,
But his intellect was vast.
Writing on the chalkboard,
His equations would amaze,
Although he had few friends,
To help him through his days.
Math problems don’t criticize,
Books accept attention,
Long hours hide all awkwardness,
And minimize rejection.
