We don’t have the need,
To sashay anymore,
We’re more forthright than that,
We’d rather march right through the door.
The nonchalant have vanished,
Everyone has purpose now,
Stridently asserting,
Their own wheres and hows.
It’s sad kindness has vanished,
With it civility and grace,
Only with determination now,
Can we talk face to face.
