Turn
We imagine a neoteric year,
To have a special shine,
Because the numbers on the calendar,
Magic properties enshrine.
But when we open up our eyes,
To any new-born day,
Minutes unfold like pages,
In an unimagined play.
We are the only ones who choose,
Our dialogue and stance,
Whether to sit upon the sidelines,
Or move boldly out, and dance.
