So many grand ideas,
Written for us all,
But altiloquent language,
Causes some of us to fall.
Oh, you great philosophers,
Could you not simplify?
Give the rest of us a chance,
To see through your observant eyes?
We’ll wrestle with your thoughts,
Until we tire or quit,
Accepting our small understandings,
Disparaging our dim wit.
