Today’s word is “paralipsis” ... par-uh-lip-sis ... Rhetoric. the suggestion, by deliberately concise treatment of a topic, that much of significance is being omitted, as in “not to mention other faults.” (Dictionary.com)

Careful
We surely won’t be talking,
About his faults and failings,
They’ll remain unspoken,
We will do no railing.
Though we see these weakness,
Each and every day,
We’ll use this paralipsis,
To help us have our say.
We will take the high road,
And keep our noses clean,
(But everyone will truly know,
What we really mean!)
