Slumberous ... Greening

Today's word is "slumberous" ... sluhm-ber-uh s ... sleepy; heavy with drowsiness, as the eyelids; causing or inducing sleep. (Dictionary.com)

Greening
In this slumberous spring,
Birds have made their nests,
None of them is worrying,
Which one of them is best.

The buds are not competing,
For flower of the week,
And yet each one's enticing,
Their beauty what we seek.

Each sunrise is singular,
Each star is in its place,
Nature works in harmony,
A picture of God's grace.
