Swept
A gale moans 'round us outside,
Rain and wind are swirling,
On the beaches wide,
Enormous waves are curling.

Here, cozy by the fire's glow,
Soup, saporific fills,
We'll stave off nature's blows,
Wrapped warm against the chill.
