Here
The curtain between God and his people,
Once heavy with misunderstanding,
Has become diaphanous; a thin space.
Because he came among us,
Became one of us in truth.
Our God now calls us friend.
This terrifying closeness,
Causes us to breathe his name in wonder,
Secure, yet amazed that he would tame his power,
To bring us wandering, home.
