Guide
When it's hard to find the way,
And night has fallen black,
You might be looking for a star,
Or some way to get back.
You need to fasten to a light,
Polaris, sun or moon,
To give direction and good cheer,
To keep you far from ruin.
But light comes in many forms,
In persons that you love,
In sacred books and sacraments,
And wisdom from above.
Let the stars be guardians,
Along your winding way,
But let The Lord of Lights become,
Your final hope and stay.
