Favonian ... Summer?

Today's word is "favonian" ... fuh-VOH-née-uhn ... of or pertaining to the west wind. mild or favorable; propitious. (dictionary.com)

Summer?
It is July in Michigan,
There are no winds favonian,
The sun won't shine, the air is cold,
Where 'ere we go, we jackets hold.

It seems that in our memories,
A cold, cold summer we can't see,
But thinking of the normal heat,
I think this coolness has it beat!
