Stop
There was a time when people said,
Stop the world; we’ll disembark,
And just yesterday as well,
A similar, and sad remark.
Are we now just giving up?
Is this human project at an end?
Can a moratorium be called?
A way to make the story bend?
A kind action undertaken,
A word, a friendly gesture made,
Might just change our destination,
Then we’ll need not be afraid.
