Today’s word is “antediluvian” ... very old, old-fashioned, or out of date; antiquated. (Dictionary.com)
Circles
Soon or late we all become,
Antediluvian to the young,
Our ways seem ancient, set in stone,
Though they’re part of our flesh and bone.
That generation too, soon or late,
Will realize it’s their own fate,
And the wheel goes round and round,
As each generation by its rules are bound.
But when traditions are of the good,
And not by the young misunderstood,
The proven, ancient paths bring peace,
And the reinvention of life, will cease.
