Sic ...

Today’s word is “sic” ... so; thus: usually written parenthetically to denote that a word, phrase, passage, etc., that may appear strange or incorrect has been written intentionally or has been quoted verbatim: (Dictionary.com)

Turn
So many fatal errors,
Reveal our fallen ways,
The sign of (sic) should follow,
Where we go each day.

Then everyone would see,
When a mistake was made,
And our righteous feelings,
Would begin to blur and fade.

We might then realize,
How flawed is our reflection,
In need of much forgiveness,
From the store of God’s perfection.
