Great and precious statues,
Gleam like treasure found,
A Wimbledon or Heisman,
Have a pleasing sound.
An egot strokes the ego,
They will by all be praised,
And be remembered years on years,
Because of talents raised.
In this life, not all of us.
Will have a trophy to our name,
But there are quiet acts of love,
That will bring praise, the same.
