Gone
It’s the end of Halloween,
I’d like to squee and sing,
No more silly costumes,
No more bells that ring.
No giant bags of candy,
Purchased at the store,
No eating of the extras,
Because there are no more.
No more happy pumpkin lights,
Costumes off fifty percent,
Soon we will be wondering,
Where Thanksgiving went.
