Today’s word is “seriatim” ... seer-ee-ey-tim ... in a series; one after another. (Dictionary.com)
Snapshots
This is spring ending,
Little squirrels chasing,
Ducklings swimming seriatim,
Trees full-fledged green.
This is summer beginning,
Walking jacket-less to the mailbox,
Worrying about seeded dandelions,
Planting the last impatiens.
These are the pictures remembered
In autumn when leaves are gone,
In winter when snow has come.
In new spring before warmth.
