Hiking in the Smokies,
We entered a new land,
Wandering in green undergrowth,
We were a merry band.
We had tents and walking sticks,
And food to rehydrate,
If there were no plants bacciferous,
We’d still fill our plates.
We lasted most of a whole week,
And learned a thing or two,
It is a young one’s hobby,
And you better have good shoes!
