Gossip
Is there a mea culpa,
Anywhere at all?
To ease the disappointments,
The duplicities and falls?
Swirling all around us,
Are stories false and true,
And we are left to discern,
Why things are so askew.
Honesty and truth,
Must become our rule,
If not we will find ourselves,
Lost and sadly schooled.
