Today's word is "quaquaversal" ... kwey-kwuh-vur-suh l ... (of a geological formation) sloping downward from the center in all directions. (Dictionary.com)
Grounded
From the quaquaversal anthill,
The ants do come and go,
Working every moment,
(Unless there's rain or snow.)
Of strategic goals they have no need,
No charts of progress made,
Yet they build their monuments,
In every wood and glade.
Their purpose is opaque to them,
Instinct commands their ways,
Nevertheless they carry on,
And have no time for play.
