Through the newly spring,
We wander with no end,
Listening for woodnotes,
Or sight of doe around the bend.
Trillium are thinking,
Of up-coming from their deeps,
Squirrels rustle high above,
Their babies in their keeps.
All around life quivers,
Groans and labors long,
To repeat the pattern,
That sings within it strong.
