I really don't need anything,
I tell myself most days,
I am perfectly content,
In my house to stay.
Then I go out to the mall,
To pick up something small,
And pass gimcrack temptations,
Hanging on the walls.
I know that I can't live without,
That one that sparkles so,
I'll have something extra soon,
Before I homeward go.
