Moppet ... Romp

Today's word is "moppet" ... MOP-it ... a young child.

Romp
It is so much fun,
Watching moppets play,
As they make up games,
Imagining through their days.

And if they let you join,
(Although you're old gray),
Your bones will gain new strength,
As you enjoy the fray.

Your mind will find that place,
Where worries are no more,
And for an hour or two,
With them, you'll ask for more.
