What could have caused,
The state that we are in ...
A lack of love and trust,
Precipitating sin?
It seems that on our own,
We are no good at all,
No matter how we try,
We are bound to fail and fall.
Only something bigger,
Than our selves so small,
Can bring about the change,
If it’s possible at all.
Perfection will not come,
In this short lifetime,
But progress can be made,
As we upward climb.
