Today’s word is “velutinous” ... vuh-loot-n-uhs ... having a soft, velvety surface, as certain plants. (Dictionary.com)
New
Velutinous greening lamb’s ears,
Tulips breaking ground,
A red bud’s morning glory,
Crocus newly found.
Wonders burst upon us,
All the springtime long,
Waiting for acknowledgement,
In prayer or praising song.
