Gain
It’s merely a tump in the road,
This thing that has got you upset,
A moment so temporary,
Like a rainstorm that’s got you all wet.
Yes, it is mighty unpleasant,
And may reduce you to tears,
But the hard things will teach you a lesson,
Not learned in the happiest of years.
Pay attention to that little voice,
That you hear in your head,
And your journey will be so much better,
Almost as if you’re being led.
