Lookers
All the dreamboats come and go,
Symmetrically fine faces,
One form fitting as the last,
They attend in glamorous places.
Inside’s a different story,
Where the heart is beating,
The unformed soul’s creating,
Even as the beauty’s fleeting.
But someday all of us,
Shed of our frail, drab skin,
Will rise on glory’s shore,
Buoyed by the joy within.
