Who thought that garbology,
That sticker or that bill,
That broken bat or mitten,
Thrown into the landfill,
Would tell someone you do not know,
All about your life,
And how your culture spent their time,
Your loves and hates and strife?
That will paint some picture!
Of what, we can’t be sure,
Except to say there will be lines,
That crisscross, run and blur.
