Mite
There was once a woman,
Old and bent of frame,
Who came to church one morning,
(Each Sunday was the same.)
She listened to the sermon,
She sang a song or two,
Then left a little stiver,
In the basket by her pew.
Jesus said this woman,
Gave more than all the rest,
Because she put in everything,
More than the very best.
