Peer
Hidden at the water's edge,
His eyes stare coldly in the lilies,
A tiny plant rests on his nose,
Unbeknownst to him, he looks quite silly.

But as he lurks in waning sun,
Awaiting his rupestrine dinner.
Of all the fishes near him swimming,
He seems to know he'll be the winner.
